We received a lot of good submissions from Boise’s finest about their personal perspectives and experiences. They’re really good, except that is the vast bulk of what was submitted: personal perspectives. And Ignite a good forum to share a perspective, but a GREAT Ignite event is one with variety.
In short, we need Boise to mix it up! Share your expertise. Educate and challenge our city. A good story is fine and good (and IB7 will have plenty of them), but we need stuff to twist our brains a little. So, fire up the engine and…

- something I’ve been working on
- did you know…
We already have lots of submissions about:
- funny/weird/interesting things that happen to me
- how amazing my kids are
- my personal/religious/political views
We’re only going to open submissions for a few days, so submit now!

We’re now accepting submissions for Ignite Boise 7. And we want you to get involved. Sure, there are a few simple ground rules…
- No sales pitches
- One speaker
- One mic
- No props
- No videos or slide animations
- You submit, you talk (no subs or ringers)
- No audience hand-outs
- No Barry Manilow
…and no guarantees that you’ll be selected this time around. BUT if you show passion, brilliance and/or a modicum of an original idea, you likely have a great shot. Try it.
