IB6 sponsors wanted.

Published by Jeff Reynolds on December 5th, 2010 | Comments Off

Are you an interesting company doing interesting things? You should sponsor Ignite Boise 6.

The cost is $350 and gives you love on our website, at the event and through various tweets, blog posts and the like. Plus, you’ll get to create a sponsorship video that will run during intermission and get a handful of early-admission tickets.

Absolutely every nickel we raise goes back into the event. Ignite Boise is 100% volunteer-run — nobody makes money off this deal. We do it because we think it is important to spark creative/critical thinking in our fair city. Hopefully, you’ll agree and become part of it.

Interested? Send us a note at igniteboise@gmail.com.

One last note: demand generally outstrips supply when it come to IB sponsorships. So if you want to get involved, please let us know ASAP. We can’t accept everyone and expect to close sponsorships well before the event itself.

Thanks for your support!

A lot of people say to me, “I really wanted to go to Ignite but I couldn’t get tickets,” or, “Is there any chance you can get me tickets to Ignite, I really want to go!”  I smile politely and remind them: you can get into Ignite without a ticket.

And so can you!  Tickets are meant to get people in early to guarantee them a spot.  Folks pick up 600 of those.  But the Egyptian holds about 750, so there’s PLENTY of room for you.  Really, Ignite has never completely filled the Egyptian.  There have always been 50-100 seats left empty.

So fill them!  If you don’t have a ticket, you should come anyway.  Ignite is a lot of fun for everyone: the speakers, the volunteers, the organizers…but it’s really meant to be fun for the crowd, so be a part of it.  It’s free!   FREE!  So come!   No one has been turned away yet.

Drumroll please…

Ignite Boise is absolutely free to attend. That’s cool. But, of course, it’s not completely accurate. Nothing is free. The Egyptian Theatre costs $$$ to rent, t-shirts cost $$$ to print, and  insurance costs $$$ to protect. The only way these and other expenses get covered is because of the great support of our  sponsors.

So please, support the companies and organizations that support Ignite Boise. Thank them, talk about them, or buy from them. Without our sponsors Ignite Boise wouldn’t be the same.

Here’s a bit about each of them:

  • Boise Commercial R.E.: simply one of the most knowledgeable real estate firms in Boise. Headed by the affable @scott_nicholson.
  • Boise Young Professionals: a diverse, connected, involved and prepared reservoir of world-class talent who are prepared to lead, create, innovate and influence as the community evolves. Twitter handle: @byp.
  • Buchanan + Nipper: intellectual property gurus. At least on the legal stuff (but really a whole lot more). Find them @patent.
  • Cradlepoint Technologies: cool technology that helps you create mobile hotspots. Hence, their Twitter handle: @mobilehotspot.
  • Custom Home Solutions: installing safe baths & bathrooms. We’re talking everything from roll-in showers to walk-in tubs & more.
  • EO Idaho: Idaho’s chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a dynamic network of business owners from around the nation.
  • FusionSet: full-service marketing & PR firm based in Boise. Led by author & marketing wiz Donna Geisler.
  • Ibis NW: great web development & analytics company. Find them on Twitter at @ibisnw.
  • Red Sky Public Relations: Idaho’s largest PR firm involved in some of the State’s most recognized campaigns. @redskypr
  • rizen creative: a Boise advertising, design & idea studio focused exclusively on underdog brands. @rizencreative
  • Sybase: creators of enterprise and mobile software to manage, analyze and mobilize information for business intelligence.
  • Urban Agent: Not your parents’ real estate company — waaaaay better. Led in Boise by @urban_lindsay@urban_nick
