Ignite Boise 6 is set for April 21, 2011 at the Egyptian Theater. It is going to be rad. The cool (and a few uncool) kids will be there. Please join us.
Never been to an Ignite Boise?! Watch some videos from Ignite Boise 5.
Are you an interesting company doing interesting things? You should sponsor Ignite Boise 6.
The cost is $350 and gives you love on our website, at the event and through various tweets, blog posts and the like. Plus, you’ll get to create a sponsorship video that will run during intermission and get a handful of early-admission tickets.
Absolutely every nickel we raise goes back into the event. Ignite Boise is 100% volunteer-run — nobody makes money off this deal. We do it because we think it is important to spark creative/critical thinking in our fair city. Hopefully, you’ll agree and become part of it.
Interested? Send us a note at igniteboise@gmail.com.
One last note: demand generally outstrips supply when it come to IB sponsorships. So if you want to get involved, please let us know ASAP. We can’t accept everyone and expect to close sponsorships well before the event itself.
Thanks for your support!
A lot of people say to me, “I really wanted to go to Ignite but I couldn’t get tickets,” or, “Is there any chance you can get me tickets to Ignite, I really want to go!” I smile politely and remind them: you can get into Ignite without a ticket.
And so can you! Tickets are meant to get people in early to guarantee them a spot. Folks pick up 600 of those. But the Egyptian holds about 750, so there’s PLENTY of room for you. Really, Ignite has never completely filled the Egyptian. There have always been 50-100 seats left empty.
So fill them! If you don’t have a ticket, you should come anyway. Ignite is a lot of fun for everyone: the speakers, the volunteers, the organizers…but it’s really meant to be fun for the crowd, so be a part of it. It’s free! FREE! So come! No one has been turned away yet.
The votes are in! Below is a complete list of the Ignite Boise 5 speakers — congratulations and thanks to all who submitted! Ignite Boise can’t happen without great submissions. This is not the final order presentation. That gets announced the day of the event.
