Ladies and gentlemen, please start your creative engines. That’s right: you can now submit your presentation for Ignite Boise 2! All you have to do is visit the “Submit a talk” page, and you’re off! We don’t need your whole slide deck or a 500 word description of what you plan to do – just a title, and 100-200 word abstract of what you are thinking, and you’re good to go.
What kind of talk can/should you submit? If you went last time, you know what the panel will be looking for. Presentations that will challenge assumptions or conventional wisdom; are witty and entertaining; will spark creativity. That give you some guidance? If you are still confused, watch some presentations from Ignite Boise 1.
Or you can look at it this way – here’s what we don’t want: we do not want pitches about your product, your business, or your patent-pending way that you help your clients achieve whatever. Those kinds of presentations are a no go.
